元手タダ“家ゴミ→お宝化”計画（78）「冷蔵庫」は買い替えが無難！？ - 徳間書店

　どんな家電品にも買い替えの時期がやってくる。我が家の冷蔵庫が、今まさに買い替え時を迎えている。

　だが、冷蔵庫ほどやっかいな代物はない。新品を買うにもデカさゆえに、運搬費が別途かかる。古い冷蔵庫も粗大ゴミで捨てられない。家電リサイクル法の対象商品なので、金を払って業者に引き取ってもらわなくてはならない。他の家電品より出費がかさむのだ。ならば、古くなった冷蔵庫を売ることはできないか。

「買い取れる冷蔵庫の多くは、製造から3年以内のもので、どんなに古くても5年以内ですね。容量などでも買取価格は変わってきますが、平均すれば3万円ぐらいでしょう。それより古い冷蔵庫となると、壊れていることが多いので、まず買取はないですね」（都内リサイクルショップ店長）

　図星である。我が家の冷蔵庫は10年以上前の代物。しかも、冷蔵室に入れた食品が凍ってしまうという症状も出ている。でも、ヤフオクなら買ってくれる物好きがいるかもしれない。

　さっそく調べてみたが、30万円を超える値をつけるのは業務用冷蔵庫。家庭用となると、やはり新しい製品にしか買い手はつかないようだ。店長が言う。

「自治体によっては省エネ助成金を出しているところもあります。東京だと冷蔵庫を省エネ製品に買い替えるとエコポイントが付与されます。1万円ぐらいつく場合もあるので、素直に買い替えたほうがお得です」

　冷蔵庫は売り時もなかなかやっかいなのだ。
