「トイレットペーパー」購入者相次ぐ...在庫十分、冷静に行動を - 福島民友

　新型コロナウイルスの感染拡大を受け、県内では２９日、ドラッグストアなどでトイレットペーパーやティッシュペーパーなどを買い求める人が相次いだ。インターネット上の「マスクの次に不足」とのデマ情報が原因とされるが、業界団体は「供給力、在庫は十分にある。冷静に行動して」と呼び掛けている。

　福島市のドラッグストアでは、開店前から列ができた。広報担当の男性役員によると、２７日ごろからトイレットペーパーやティッシュを買い求める人が増え始め、特別に発注しているのが現状で「不安になれば買っておこうという人が増えてしまう」と困惑。店を訪れた同市の会社員男性（４８）は「休校が決まり、子どもが家にいるようになるから余計に必要になる」と話した。

　この事態を受け、日本家庭紙工業会はトイレットペーパー、ティッシュペーパーについて「ほとんどが国内生産で、現在も通常通りの生産・供給を行っている」と発表。原材料の調達についても「中国に依存しておらず、製品在庫も十分にあるので需要を満たす十分な供給量・在庫を確保している」としている。

　一方、スーパーマーケットではトイレットペーパーのほか、米、レトルト食品などを買い求める人が普段と比べて多いという。
