　【ロンドン時事】新型コロナウイルス感染の第２波に見舞われている英国のジョンソン首相は１０月３１日、感染拡大阻止のため１１月５日からイングランド全土でロックダウン（都市封鎖）の措置を再導入すると発表した。期間は１２月２日までの約１カ月間で、生活必需品を扱う店以外は閉鎖され、飲食店は持ち帰り以外の営業ができなくなる。

　世帯間の交流も原則禁止となる。ただ、春の第１波時のロックダウンと異なり、学校など教育施設の運営は続けられる。

　首相は記者会見で「（医療崩壊がもたらす）医療上と道徳上の惨事」を避けるために必要な措置だと強調。「今行動しなくてはならない。さもなければ１日に数千人の死者が出ることになる」と警告し、国民に協力を訴えた。

テレビ愛媛伊予市のごみ処理施設で１８日午前、作業員の男性が軽トラックとぶつかり、ごみを溜めるピットに転落して死亡しました。１８日午前９時半頃、伊予市三秋の伊予地区清掃センターで市の臨時職員・武智秀高さん（６１）が軽トラックとぶつかり、約６メートル下のごみをためるピットに転落しました。武智さんは松山市の病院に搬送されましたが、全身を強く打っていて約１時間半後に死亡しました。武智さんは軽トラックをごみの投入口まで誘導していたということです。警察は軽トラックを運転していた６７歳の女性から事情を聴くなどし、原因を詳しく調べています。伊予地区清掃センターは今後、一般の利用者は高さ１メートルほどの破砕機にゴミを投入してもらうなど、対策をとることにしています。テレビ愛媛 Let's block ads!
