Huawei Watch Ultimate is official. It will be the first smartwatch with satellite connectivity. That is, it will be the first ever smartwatch that can send SMS without requiring an LTE connection.

Huawei made headlines by releasing the Huawei Mate 50 series. It was the first smartphone lineup from Huawei with satellite connectivity. And with Watch Ultimate, Huawei wants to push the feature to its smartwatch lineup.
Huawei did not officially disclose details about the features that the Watch Ultimate will adapt to. For example, there is no confirmation whether the watch will enable you to get satellite calls. However, one thing is sure: you can send two-way SMS through the feature.

Besides Watch Ultimate, Huawei is also working on the Watch 4 Series. Although Huawei did not release any design details of the Watch 4 lineup, fans have a lot of expectations of it too. However, we know for sure that the watches will come with HarmonyOS.
