
Chinese telecoms giant Huawei unveiled its new Watch 4 smartwatch series on Thursday as part of its summer product launch event. The series consists of two models, the Huawei Watch 4 and Watch 4 Pro, and comes with what Huawei has claimed is the world’s first smartwatch high blood sugar risk assessment tool. With a starting price of RMB 2,699 ($384), the watches also adopt spherical sapphire glass, which is normally used in high-end traditional watchmaking and is another industry first for smartwatches according to Huawei.
